Lift vs. traction? I see people talking about lifty kites or traction kites, whats the difference? Isn't traction when the kite is lower to the ground, say less than 45 degrees, and lift when the kite is overhead, say above 45 degrees. Wouldn't a "powerful" traction kite also be a lifty kite? It seems to me that power and lift are the same thing.
Once you use it for traction then you should be using higher strength lines especially if your jumping. Lines for different sizes: I use the same strength on all my kites, because as the wind increases I use a smaller kite but it's creating the same power as my bigger kite in a weaker wind.
Well yet again you were right, I now have a Peter Lynn buggy and a flexofoil traction extreme bar, getting a harness soon! Now the buggy is going to stay in the garage until I have mastered the kite completely! I was just wondering if anyone knew how the control bar setup works?
