A tornado that tore through Mineral Wells, Texas, late Tuesday, April 29, has been upgraded to an EF-3 as North Texas continues recovering from a stretch of severe weather that has included multiple tornadoes and at least two deaths in Runaway Bay over the weekend.

Preliminarily, there was at least one tornado in Clay County, 68 hail reports, with hail as big as just below the size of a softball, and seven damaging wind reports.
