The storm system that brought dangerous tornadoes to the Midwest earlier this week has now moved into New England, threatening to cause flooding in multiple states.

On Thursday at 4:01 p.m. a flood advisory was issued by the National Weather Service in effect until 5:15 p.m. for Manatee County. Locations impacted by the advisory include Bradenton, Palmetto, West Samoset,
