Genevieve was a Category 3 hurricane in the North Pacific Ocean early Sunday Hawaii time, the National Hurricane Center said in its latest advisory. Genevieve is the seventh named storm to form in the Eastern Pacific in 2026.

When the next hurricane heads toward Florida, some people won’t join the lines of traffic slowly snaking out of neighborhoods, they won’t need to worry about gas, or where they should head. Instead, they will be swiftly flown out of state on a privately hired airplane.
